Nothing But The Beat

Half of my final assessment for my painting class SART1002. I was inspired by Julie Mehretu and Kandinsky. The theme: Gravity or Gravitas, so I decided to emphasise the movement of the pendulum on a metronome. The acrylic painting and the painting's structure is meant to exemplify how beat and rhythm are significant in structuring a piece of music. I personally believe beat is vital in creating a successful musical composition. Without beat, the entire music work would fall apart.
